STEAMBOAT AND THE CANYONS INTRODUCE CUSTOM-PUBLISHED MEMORY BOOKS

Partnership with SharedBook Inc. lets skiers create books online and re-live the experience in print

NEW YORK - December 5, 2005 - The Canyons Resort and Steamboat Ski Resort and SharedBook Inc. have teamed up to launch custom memory books for winter vacationers at Steamboat Resort, in Colorado, and The Canyons, in Utah.
Every guest to the resort can create a personalized book online, to be printed as a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

Guests to Steamboat can order their Steamboat MemoryBooks beginning December 1 and start building them online three weeks later. Visitors to The Canyons will be able to order and build personalized books beginning February 23.

"Too often, photos from family vacations end up unsorted on the computer or stuffed away in a shoebox," explains SharedBook CEO Caroline Vanderlip. "Either way, it's hard to share them with family and friends. Personalized books present and preserve ski memories for enjoyment, year after year."

Steamboat guests make first tracks in their personalized Steamboat MemoryBook by adding their own material to an interactive, online template, featuring trail maps, resort trivia, and stories about the mountain and its nightlife. Using SharedBook's patent-pending Web technology, individuals can easily upload up to 200 pages of text and photos. Families can work collaboratively on a group book and friends can swap photos and add to each others' books.

Each full-color, completed book is a unique as its author. A click of the mouse immortalizes the best of the Web in a hard- or soft-cover enduring memento.
